The decomposed body discovered in the trunk of singer-songwriter d4vd‘s impounded Tesla has now been identified by authorities as Celeste Rivas, a teenage girl who was reported missing from Lake Elsinore, CA, in April 2024.
According to the L.A. County Medical Examiner, Rivas was 15. She had a tattoo on her right index finger of “Shhh…” in red ink, matching the singer’s. Rihanna was the one who initially popularized the ink in 2008, prompting the likes of Lily Allen and Lindsay Lohan to get the same tattoo in the same place.
UPDATE (9/18, 9:54 a.m. ET): More disturbing alleged evidence connecting d4vd and the victim has emerged, with a litany of photos and videos circulating on social media that appear to show the singer and Rivas together. There are also Discord screenshots that seem to show d4vd interacting with Rivas in 2022, when she was 11.
