Scott Eastwood is opening up about a frustrating experience on a movie set, claiming one of his former co-stars abandoned a project after production had already invested significant time and money.
The actor, known for films like Flags of Our Fathers, Fury, and Suicide Squad, shared the story during an appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. However, while Eastwood expressed strong feelings about the situation, he decided not to reveal the identity of the actor involved.
According to Eastwood, the unnamed performer allegedly became difficult to work with after gaining a certain level of fame.
“I just worked with somebody and, without saying any names, people get too famous for too long and think the world owes them something,” Eastwood explained.
He claimed that the problems began after the production had already spent a large amount of money. According to Eastwood, the actor decided they no longer wanted to continue working with another person involved in the project and chose to leave.
“They decided after we’d already spent a bunch of money that they just didn’t want to work with this other person and didn’t want to do the job,” he said.
Eastwood claimed he confronted the actor and told them they should return the money to the individual who had invested in the project. However, he said the person refused and ultimately walked away.

The experience clearly left Eastwood frustrated. While he avoided naming the person, he did not hide his disappointment with their alleged actions.
“I’ve seen some behavior in this business that is shocking,” Eastwood said.
He argued that similar behavior would likely not be tolerated in other industries, but Hollywood can sometimes operate differently when famous names are involved.
“That would not go in other industries, but for some reason because they’re stars, right?” he added.
Despite his criticism, Eastwood acknowledged that creative disagreements can happen, especially when filmmakers are deeply connected to their projects.
He admitted that it was ultimately the director’s story and vision, but he strongly disagreed with the financial responsibility involved after money had already been invested.
